How to make Fruit and Mint Custard

  • Step 1 Chop the fruits

    Take strawberries, apricot, kiwis and cut into small cubes.

  • Step 2 Make custard slurry

    Mix custard powder and sugar in little milk to prepare custard slurry.

  • Step 3 Custard preparation

    Boil the remaining milk for 10 minutes in a pot. Pour the custard slurry in the boiled milk and give a good whisk.

  • Step 4 Garnish and serve

    Add chopped fruits, almonds, cashews, mint leaves and vanilla essence to the custard. Let the custard cool down and then keep in the fridge until chilled. Custard is now ready to be served.

How to make Orange Carrot Kheer

  • Step 1 Roast the oats

    Add oats to a pan and dry roast them for a few minutes while stirring continuously. Once done, take them out on a plate.

  • Step 2 Boil the milk

    Add skimmed milk to a pot and keep it on medium flame. Let it come to a boil.

  • Step 3 Add carrots

    Add grated carrots to the boiling milk and lower the flame. Let it cook for 10 minutes.

  • Step 4 Add oats

    Now add oats to the pot and give a good mix. Let the kheer cook till it thickens.

  • Step 5 Add the final ingredients

    Crush the green cardamom and take out the seeds. Crush the seeds and add to the oats. Also add honey, orange zest and chopped almonds. Cook for last 2 minutes and switch off the flame.

How to make Walnut and Banana Kheer

  • Step 1 Prepare walnut milk and walnut paste

    Soak half the walnuts for 2-4 hours and blend them with water to make walnut milk. Next, roast the remaining walnuts and crush them to paste. Keep them aside.

  • Step 2 Simmer walnut milk with walnut paste

    In a pan, add ghee, green cardamoms, walnut milk and keep stirring. Add roasted walnut paste to the mixture and keep whisking.

  • Step 3 Add banana to the walnut milk

    One the milk thickens, chop a banana and add that to the pan. Stir it for a while, take it off the heat and put it in a bowl.

  • Step 4 Garnish with walnuts and enjoy
